Stephanie Meder joined Break Bread as a volunteer when prior ED Jenn Ray came on board, helping with meal pick up and deliveries. She then joined Chef Monica in the kitchen helping to prepare the meals that nourish our neighbors. When the opportunity to apply for the ED position came along, she did not hesitate. Getting to know our neighbors and seeing the impact Break Bread has on their lives , she says, truly feeds her soul. Professionally Stephanie has been in the disability field for the past 5 years, largely in marketing and outreach. She has 2 kiddos and is passionate about equity and human rights. Stephanie is excited to grow what Jen Enquist started 5 years ago, and Jenn Ray revived after COVID. She has an exciting vision of what the next 5 years holds for Break Bread!
Monica is our rock star chef who loves interacting with our volunteers and having a great time while she nourishes our neighbors.
She has extensive experience as an executive chef and was drawn to Break Bread because she is passionate about our mission.
We are lucky to have Monica's expertise and contagious laugh around Break Bread!
