Moments in time: The Break Bread magic

    What We Do

    Community Meals

Picture people of all ages, from all places, of all abilities, coming together on a Saturday evening to celebrate our neighborhood. Not much is required from anyone. But together we create an experience that is memorable for all.

Sure, Break Bread is about nourishing our neighbors with food.  But it's so much more than that.  It's about building meaningful relationships among our neighbors through a free weekly community meal offering nourishment and friendship while affirming dignity.  It's about a philosophy that goes even beyond "all are welcome."  Break Bread strives to declare that "this was designed with you in mind." Break Bread is about more than filling bellies; the relationships created through sharing a meal together make a positive impact on the long term food security and mental health of our neighbors.

Simply come with a willingness to embrace and embody Break Bread’s core values:

    Nourishment

    Friendship

    Affirming dignity

    Willingness to be inspired

So join us for FREE hot Community Meals  — every Saturday from 4-6pm!

Be A Part of The Story

The foundation of Break Bread is one of communal growth.  Every meal we share is more than just nourishment—it's a chance to strengthen the bonds of our community. Whether you're here to enjoy a meal, connect with others, or lend a hand, your presence enriches the story we're writing together.

Join us, not just to give or receive, but to experience the power of togetherness.  No matter the reason, each person who walks through our doors plays a vital role in the greater narrative of community, care, and connection.

    Community Gatherings & Education

In addition to bringing our community together for free meals--building genuine, meaningful relationships from them--we are also committed to learning new way in which we might continue to lift each other up.  We use this ever evolving knowledge to incorporate a variety of outreach programs into our meals and our program on the whole.

We actively work with other prosocial l organizations in the area, including Change The Trend network, to provide as full and diverse a compliment of services as possible to the all those in the greater tri-cities area.  Whether a particular person ever makes it through our doors, we will be working diligently in one way or another to ensure they are cared for.
